Born and raised in the city of Detroit, I attended Western Michigan University and Wayne State Law School.  I practiced law in Kalamazoo for 20 years, representing people in negotiations and litigation then switched careers, and provided hands-on management, product development and great customer service in a specialty retail wine shop.  I also helped raise three great kids!
