I am very sorry this situation happened to you after you had rented with us for so many years. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for US Post Office and things that happen with the mail that is given to them. Florida Law is very specific on what has to happen with security deposits and as a property manager I must abide by the law. There is no burden to working with security deposit disputes luckily we do not have to deal with very many but we are well aware of the importance of the security deposit and the renters money. I hope you are happy in your new home.
