As  a "first generation" immigrant from Spain, my family and I came to the United States and settled in a small tight-knit community in NYC known as "Greenwich Village".  Growing up in "The Village" gave me a real sense of community and belonging.  My parents instilled in me a strong value system that I continue to carry with me always. Hard work, honesty and integrity are just a few of my attributes my parents gifted me with.
