Jessie is a native Atlantan who attended Georgia State University and received a bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Sociology. While at Georgia State, she served as president of her sorority and is still a proud alumna of Zeta Tau Alpha. She then received a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.
