We Unfortunately Can’t Approve All Tenants: This client applied for a rental property located next door to his sister. Applications require a full credit, background, and criminal screening. I called him many times in order to get the information that was needed to apply and even personally went to his sister's home to pick up his paperwork. He unfortunately did not qualify for the home and because of this, there was no need to contact his employer. I attempted to contact him numerous times; I left him at least 4 voice mail messages asking him to call me, as well as email. Upon realizing he was not approved, he called back upset which apparently prompted this review which is completely inaccurate. In my 20 years as VP of Lending with local banks, and 15+ years owning a real estate company, I have worked very hard to do everything in my power to help each client. It is unfortunate that when you work with real estate rentals, not all tenants are approved, and that was the case here.
