    I was representing a buyer in a transaction with a FSBO seller. During the inspection period, several concerns were noted, and after careful consideration, the buyer chose to cancel the contract. Although the cancellation occurred one day after the inspection period ended, the buyer fully understood the implications and forfeited his earnest money deposit to the seller. This occurred on April 28th, and the funds were properly retained by the seller. Despite the professionalism throughout the transaction, the seller has posted a review that is completely false. Most notably, it claims the buyer was not approved to purchase the home, which is entirely untrue. I was directly involved and can confirm the buyer was fully approved and financially ready to proceed. To make matters worse, this same individual also posted a retaliatory 1-star review on the home inspector’s Google business profile. This behavior is clearly vindictive, and the review on Zillow contains blatant misinformation that could unfairly damage my reputation.
