I was born and raised in Vernal and both sides of my family have lived in this area for several generations. Some even helped to settle the basin. Needless to say, I have a strong love for and knowledge of our local communities. Upon graduating from Uintah High I went to college in Logan, Utah and obtained an associate degree from Utah State University in horticulture.
