    Dear Diane, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am committed to transparency and fairness in all my rental agreements, and I would like to address the concerns you raised. You rented this property in February and March 2024 and in March 2024 agreed to sign another rental agreement for the following year same months. On July 11, 2024, I informed you of my intention to sell the property. I assured you that if the property sold before your lease begins and so long as you remain legally in the terms of your rental agreement, that I would convey the rental agreement to the new owner and in the event that a new owner chose not to continue renting, then I would commit to refunding your money however I told you numerous times that in order to get refunded you must continue to meet your terms of the rental agreement which meant you would pay the remaining balance by December 1st. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including three named hurricanes, I temporarily took the property off the market to ensure the safety and well-being of all parties involved. Despite these challenges, I remained transparent about the situation. Unfortunately, you chose not to fulfill the terms of the rental agreement by not making the second payment by the December 1st deadline. This decision effectively placed you out of contract. As per the agreement, no refunds could be issued under these circumstances. In January, the property went under contract with a buyer, and it was sold in February. At that time, there were no active rental agreements in place. I understand your concerns about the weather and the potential sale of the property, but it is important to adhere to the terms of the contract. I strive to ensure that all parties understand and agree to the terms before proceeding. I regret any misunderstanding you declare you had and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
