Michael is originally from Marco Island. His upbringing on the Island included summer camps, community enrichment programs, and memorizing the area while walking and bike riding. Michael spent his whole academic career in Southwest Florida, graduating from Lely High School before earning a bachelor’s in History from Florida Gulf Coast University.
