Originally from the North Carolina Mountains, Nalani moved to Hawaii at the age of 19 escaping the cold 1977 energy crisis. While working in Waikiki at a large resort, and selling Oahu real estate, she fell in love with Hawaii, its people, the culture, the food and of course its beauty and the weather.
