Oly is a Wyoming native, raised and schooled in Torrington, Wyoming. He spent his summers building cabins in Pacific Creek, Moran Wyoming prior to graduating high school and enlisting in the US Air Force. His time in service was on a flight crew as the air to air refueler on the KC-135.
