Prattville, AL.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsA disaster to work with. She started off by accepting the wrong offer because she couldn't figure out which buyer's agent was the correct one. She had no useful details about the home we were buying. For instance, she claimed that major systems (HVA...Response from Rachel Gannon on 5/26/2025
Let me start this response off by being very clear, this person NOT my client and I've never represented them in a real estate transaction. But I'm going to address every accusation line by line. At no point that I accept the wrong offer; we were in a multiple offer situation. After reconsideration, the seller decided on the second offer instead of the first. Initially she decided to go with the cleaner offer and had second thoughts so we went back to this offer in order to do good for neighborhood property values. Property condition: never owned the home nor did I ever work on the home. Myself, as well as the seller, could only relay the information that was provided from the previous owner. All of that information was passed along based on seller knowledge obtained from the previous owner. Regarding my response time. I am unsure how the author of this review would know how quickly I responded to anything, as I never communicated with him; only with seller and buyer's agent. Regarding the unreasonable timelines. When this buyer looked at the property we already had an offer. We were kind enough to communicate that we had an offer already and gave them the opportunity to put an offer in. Deadlines were dictated by a competitive offer and we afforded this person the opportunity to put an offer in on the property in lieu of accepting an offer during their showing. I'm not quite sure why it matters to a person I did not represent that I was late to a closing. I was late. I communicated with my client that I would be late due to a previous appointment running later than it should have. I was not executing the closing documents, so my tardiness did not cause any issues with the closing going on as scheduled. Smelling like cigarette smoke? That I can't explain. I do burn the candle at both ends running a brokerage and my own real estate business as well as quite a few other irons in the fire so maybe that would explain the smoke smell. Regarding my disheveled appearance, I'm a single mom of four children; one of whom is special needs, I only have so much time to spend on my appearance... I was not in sweats or pajamas, I was business casual, not sure why I am having to defend this. The rest of the comments in this review I don't quite know how to address properly. Someone at the table mentioned they were developing allergies to food and beer. And I said, if I became allergic to grapes I would take a bath with the toaster. A lighthearted joke that everyone seemed to enjoy except for the author above. Everyone else in the room continue to have a nice conversation while the buyers were signing their documents. And I would definitely never say I would unalive myself if I couldn't Day drink. Because I'm clearly too old for that and I get way too sleepy. So again, I'm not quite sure why I'm having to address a review from a person who was not my client, but such is life.
