Ivan called about my condo listing, which I personally own. I told him that I would be happy to show it to him. We talked for a little while about his situation on closing on his current home sale and more details about the condo. But when Ivan told me that he wasn't willing to put up a rental deposit, I told him that I could hold it in my company escrow account. He still refused. So, that was an immediate RED FLAG, and I thought the conversation was over. This should be a red flag for any agent or landlord or seller out there! I did tell him thank you for letting me know and that he made it an easy decision for me and hung up with out without wishing him a good day. So I apologize Ivan for not being more cordial. I assumed that most people who call have read the listing and have seen the deposit amount before they call. I thought Ivan and I had a good laugh together when he called back (and yes I answered). I told him again he made my decision easier, and he then said the same.
