Sydney hails from Detroit, Michigan, and has called New York City home for the past seven years. She moved to the city to puruse graduate studies at New York University, where she immersed herself in the vibrant culture and opportunites the city has to offer. Currently residing in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Sydney was previously a long-time resident of Harlem and currently made the transition to Brooklyn.
