In March, I had the privilege of attending my first ENVSN event in Newport Beach. This event was particularly meaningful to me as it centered around a common theme: “What does home mean to you?”
As we went around the room sharing our thoughts, I was blown away by the strength in that space. The stories shared by other women were inspiring, raw, encouraging and empowering. So many had overcome real challenges to get to a place of light and success — not just for themselves, but for their families too. I saw parts of my own journey in theirs, and it made the experience even more meaningful.
In May, I had the honor of being invited back to our second ENVSN event, this time hosted at the chic Wilson Kitchen and Cocktails in NYC. The event saw over 40 professionals come together to celebrate and share their personal interpretations of what home means to them and meet our incredible team.
Our event host, Gisselle Meneses Nunez from Selling the City and Douglas Elliman, brought incredible energy and excitement into the room. Her hustle, grind and passion were evident throughout the event.
For Giselle, being an agent has always been about the relationships she holds, and Zillow played a significant role in her real estate journey. It was especially powerful to hear that Zillow helped launch her career as a new agent.
Unsure of where to start, Giselle was recommended to Zillow by a lender she had partnered with. They told her about a program at Zillow where agents are fed leads on a monthly basis. Her first deal, a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cash offer, came from those leads. Seeing these stories come full circle and understanding the impact Zillow had on her career was truly inspiring.

People were really excited to see Zillow there. It was clear that each attendee wanted 1:1 time with us. We made sure every guest was aware of the recruiters’ locations so we could provide support to them at any stage of their individual journey.
We spoke with people about to graduate, offering advice on navigating the current market, creating compelling resumes and effectively selling their skills. We also provided feedback to those who had applied to Zillow positions, helping them improve their resumes and get in front of the right people. For those who had not yet applied but were inspired by Zillow’s mission and culture, we discussed what “home” means with Zillow and answered questions about our incredible total rewards package.
There were numerous questions about AI and how attendees could maximize their efforts using this valuable tool. Many were curious about what keeps us at Zillow, and while every answer was unique, it all came back to the simple fact that we are challenged, supported and grow together within our communities at Zillow.
It is crucial for Zillow to show up at events like ENVSN. Networking is key, no matter what company or position you are applying to. Reflecting on my career, I realize that the companies I have worked for were often the result of relationships I had built over time. I encourage everyone to get out, get uncomfortable and meet someone new. You never know how that relationship may come full circle for you.
The ENVSN event was a powerful reminder of the progress we can achieve when we unite. It inspired me to continue championing initiatives that support women’s professional growth and be a true advocate. Together, we can build a more inclusive and diverse sales environment that celebrates the talents and contributions of all women.
