Parkside Apartments

Escalante sits in eastern Tempe, with a largely residential setting and access to the Salt River corridor and the broader Phoenix Valley’s dry, sunny climate. Escalante Park offers open space, sports courts and a playground, while nearby Tempe Town Lake and the Rio Salado paths add routes for walking and cycling. Dining and coffee options are scattered along nearby streets, with larger shopping choices in central Tempe and along the city’s main commercial corridors. The neighborhood’s local character reflects Tempe’s growth from an agricultural settlement into a university city, though its quieter blocks feel distinct from the downtown core. Driving is convenient via nearby arterial roads; Valley Metro buses and light rail connect parts of Tempe to other destinations. For the Escalante neighborhood, the median rent is $1,795 per month, with a typical range of $800 to $2,950.
