West End, sunny, spacious, first-floor double parlor apartment with private entrance, hardwood floors, and nice architectural features, in an owner-occupied, historic, brick 4 unit. Wonderful and quiet existing long-term tenants in other three units. Lovely gardens, laundry in building, basement storage available. This unit is currently beautifully furnished. This unit is perfect for a single person or couple. We are not opposed to well-behaved dogs or cats with additional deposit to be discussed. The apartment is a 'double parlor' style with large ornate doors that can separate the bedroom from the living room. The kitchen has built in Victorian era glass storage cabinets. This unit has quite a big kitchen with ample storage and a gas range with sink in-garbage disposal. The bathroom is rather large with a full tub and plenty of hot water off a separate designated hot water tank for just this apartment. We just installed a brand new bathroom vanity and sink. There are beautiful large steam radiators that are powered with efficient and cost effective natural gas. The unit has its own electric meter and natural gas meter. There is also an AC unit available in summer months. Large windows allow plenty of natural light in apartment but there are also existing shades for privacy. There is a basement with a washer and dryer and extra storage for skis or bikes. We take care of winter snow removal, salt and sand. BBQ, table and chairs in back garden or front garden. This location is a walker's paradise. Easy stroll through The Arts District to The Old Port. Close to Maine Med, Tandem Bakery, Rosemont Market, and all of the best of Portland.
