This unique two bedroom apartment is located on the first floor in an historic, converted school building with a total of 14 units. It has brand new premium flooring throughout. It has premium quality wood grain LVP flooring in the living room, dining area, bedrooms and hallway, plus beautiful tile flooring in the bathroom. The apartment has a large L-shaped living room and kitchen with all appliances, including stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is an on-site, very reasonably priced laundromat for tenants' convenience, which is located just down the hallway from the apartment. You can use multiple washers and dryers at once and get your laundry done in a jiffy! There are wide stairwells and hallways, easy for moving furniture in. The hall floors are made of shiny vintage hardwood from the schoolhouse days. Off-street parking is provided in our secure, video monitored parking lot. Our community is quiet and safe, plus very conveniently located near interstates, and you can zip over the river into downtown Harrisburg. There is a beautiful public kayak and boat launch nearby, but we are NOT in the flood plain. Many tenants are long-term because they love it here! We are not owned by a large, impersonal company, but the building is family owned and managed. We care about our residents and maintain the apartments well.
The rent is $1,295/month, and water, sewer, and trash removal are included in the rent. The apartment is all electric and tenants pay the electrical bill, which runs on average about $100/month. A 12 month lease, security deposit of $1,295, and renter's insurance are required. A separate completed FREE application for each adult is required. After viewing the apartment, the credit/background check fee prior to signing a lease is $40/adult, and covers credit and background check. A minimum 650 credit score is preferred plus demonstrated ability to pay the rent. NO SMOKING is allowed. Off-street parking for one vehicle in a video-monitored parking lot is included, and a second spot is available for an additional fee. Cats may be allowed on a case by case basis for an additional monthly fee plus pet deposit.
