    FENCED YARD (very small area)! Pets welcome! Dangerous dogs will need to have their own liability insurance, but otherwise very pet friendly. There are technically two bedrooms, but no real livingroom area, so it's best to think of this as one bedroom with one additional larger room used for living/ dining. This is one of the few places in the city where you can live comfortably without a car. Easy walking distance to Duke WEST campus and even easier walking distance to downtown. Many apartments exist within walking distance of East Campus, but there are precious few within walking distance of West Campus, and if you have been looking, most of them are geared toward undergraduates or well-healed graduate students and consist of expensive apartments in giant noisy buildings, or even more expensive private lofts. This is beautifully renovated, perfectly situated, and has a very very small fenced back yard so you can let your dog out without walking him in the very cold mornings. Everything you need - including washer and dryer, although they are not currently pictured - they are there. There are two bedrooms, but no real living room, so most people use one of the bedrooms as a living room. The water is included, which is 50 dollars a month in Durham. The lease terms can be flexible. You can leave with a 30 day notice. Flexible year-long lease. Can be cancelled with 30 day notice. You will need security deposit and first months rent at signing 2400 dollars, even if you move in half-way through the month. The pro-rated month will be charged the following month. Again, 2400 due at signing, no matter when you move. If you move late in the month, you will not be charged for those days the apartment was empty, but the reduced month will be your second month payment. We check two rental references and proof of income. If you have never rented an apartment before, then we can do background checks and credit checks and take personal references - like from your department at Duke, or your Job. We rely on rental references more than credit history - so if you didn't pay those student loans or something, we don't care, as long as you have a history of paying your rent. You will need proof of income.
