The HOA is studying the prospects of mini-splits which are tricky in a historic building but we are hoping to have them by summer. There are currently two overhead fans (bedroom & living rooms), a portable a/c unit, and a swamp cooler which work remarkably well in tandem. You can learn how they work if you google (zillow won't let me post a link) "evapolar ac swamp cooler together". Previous tenants report a good outcome using the system.
