    What's special

    Romanesque revival building
1 Bedroom + 1 Bathroom apartment In 2006, the Eustone Apartments underwent a major renovation. The extensive remodel left 'no stone unturned'. Every bathroom, kitchen, plumbing, wiring, appliance, flooring, wall, window, etc was replaced. This resulted in 28 high quality cozy 1 bedroom and studio apartments. The rent amount includes utilities except for electricity. This is a no pets, no smoking property. On site amenities include: coin operated laundry, a high speed wired internet option, and front door intercom system. Many units also enjoy great lake and city views. Please make sure to inquire about off street parking, as some limited options are available. For the history buff The Eustone Building was originally built as the Salter Terrace in 1887. Charles Salter was the first pastor of Pilgrim Congregational Church and the first chaplain of the Bethel Association, a missionary society to serve sailors, loggers, miners, and their families. In 1887, Salter and his wife Maria commissioned Oliver Traphagen to build the four townhouses of Salter Terrace. They lived there with their sons and daughters until 1892. The Romanesque Revival building is essentially unchanged on the exterior from its original construction in 1887. Come take a look at this architectural gem, and live in a part of Duluth's famous history! Tenants are responsible for the monthly rent charges of $850 as well as the electric utility. Additionally, a garbage fee of $10 per occupant, along with a monthly technology fee of $6.95 per account, are applied directly to your rent charges each month. We provide a liability insurance option at $18 through our in-house policy, though tenants also have the flexibility and freedom to secure their own coverage if preferred. *No pets please We make it easy! From scheduling a showing, paying your rent to submitting a maintenance request and signing your lease, it's all online. Central Hillside rises above downtown Duluth, with sloping streets and views toward Lake Superior. The lake moderates the climate, though winters bring snow and icy conditions that can make steep routes challenging. The neighborhood’s historic character shows in its older homes and proximity to downtown landmarks and cultural venues. Hillside parks and outdoor spaces offer places to stretch your legs, while the Lakewalk and lakefront are accessible downhill. Nearby downtown brings cafés, restaurants, shops, arts venues and nightlife, with more everyday shopping along the city’s main corridors. Walking is practical for nearby destinations, but hills affect the effort; Duluth Transit buses and major roads connect the area with other parts of the city. For Central Hillside, the median rent is $1,225 per month, with a typical range of $815 to $2,400.
