Also, there are some good restaurants, bars and boutiques 3 shot walking blocks to Downtown, on Lake and Lucerne Avenues (and a sweet little farmers market on Saturdays). For the outdoor adventurer, all within a 5 to 15 minute radius: Biking, swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA, kayaking, kite boarding, FlyBoarding, SUP, boating, jet-skiing, etcand a little further out (30 mins away), enjoy an afternoon exploring the mangroves in the natural majesty of the prehistoric feeling Everglades.
