Artwork by local downtown LA artists adorns the walls. The building features excellent soundproofing, ensuring the unit remains extremely quiet when the balcony doors and windows are closed. Additionally, cork underlayment between floors eliminates noise from upstairs and downstairs units. The building was originally built in 1913 as a hotel and seismically retrofitted when it was converted to lofts. The El Dorado Lofts is located in the Old Bank District, walking distance to dozens of great bars, Grand Central Market, Whole Foods, art galleries, Pershing Square Metro Station, shops, parks, and everything else Downtown has to offer. The alley connects the parking structure to the building via a back door that can only be opened with a fob. This parking alleyway is part of the security guards' regular rounds. Any and all trespassers in the alleyway are promptly removed, ensuring a high level of safety.
