Window A/C units in both the living room and bedroom keep things cool in summer, while the building's original radiators provide efficient, cost-effective heat in winter. The apartment has access to the basement, where your private storage unit and the shared laundry are located.
The Building
A historic 1906 brick building with four units. Shared amenities in the basement include two high-end washers and dryers that are free for tenants, plus an individual storage unit (~45 sq ft) for each apartment. Water is included in the monthly rent, and all units have modern electrical panels. On-street parking is available on the block through DC's Zone 6 residential permit program.

The Neighborhood

Nationals Park is about a 15-minute walk for baseball season.
Within one block you'll find a CVS, the post office, a community library, and the Eastern Market Metro stop (Blue, Orange, and Silver lines). Within three blocks are multiple parks, a fitness club, a community swimming pool, and the Eastern Market farmers market (open daily except Monday). Tree-lined streets and a quaint, walkable setting round it out.
