Spring Mountain Apartments - Unclaimed

This rural stretch of Tehama County includes Rancho Tehama Reserve, Henleyville, Richfield, Squaw Hill and Copeland, amid broad agricultural land, low foothills and scattered homes. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are cooler and bring most of the rain. The landscape is the main draw for outdoor time, with country roads and open spaces suited to walking and cycling; services and dedicated parks are limited, so errands often mean driving to Corning or other nearby towns. The area’s history is tied to farming and ranching, and its small settlements retain a quiet, spread-out character rather than a town-center feel. Dining, coffee, shopping, arts and nightlife options are sparse locally, with more choice in Corning. A car is useful for nearly all daily trips.
