Why Doesn't My House Have a Zestimate?

Currently, Zillow has data on more than 125 million homes and calculates a Zestimate home valuation on more than 110 million of those homes.

Your Zestimate may be missing because Zillow doesn’t currently have enough reliable data to generate an estimate. This can happen if our model deems the prediction to be too uncertain. Incomplete or inconsistent data can contribute to this uncertainty. For on-market homes, the Zestimate may be missing if an owner or agent has requested that it be hidden — per certain MLS rules. The Zestimate can also be missing for new, unique, or hard-to-compare properties, or in areas with limited recent sales. Note that only residential properties are eligible for a Zestimate. Large multi-family buildings, vacant land, and commercial properties are not eligible for a Zestimate.

In each of these cases, we do have access to home details (i.e., # of beds, baths, etc.) on your home and will show that. Also, depending on the jurisdiction where you live, we could be showing you tax assessed, tax appraised, or market assessed value for your home. These values come from the taxing authority of the city, county or state where you live; these are not Zillow’s values.
