Overall we are happy with our home. The tile work in the master bathroom didn’t match the quality for the rest of the home. There’s been some grout gaps that opened. Some cuts around a few outlets were too wide and you can see some gaps. Overall great home.

Our experience with the sales office and design center was great. Robuck was responsive during the construction phase correcting items that needed addressed. However, the quality of the finished product is not what we expected from this builder. This is our third newly built home and we never had the quality issues with our previous two homes that we are dealing with now. Major issues have been with the concrete slab where it wasn't leveled properly, poorly finished interior trim work, interior & exterior door issues, and damaged finish on bathtubs. Quality has also been an issue with the kitchen appliances. Robuck has been responsive and willing to correct items; however, the number of items that need corrected is excessive and they are not always fixed correctly the first time. We purchased a new home, not a "newly repaired" home. Not to mention the frustration, inconvenience, and constant clean up after each sub-contractor visit.

We really enjoyed working with Paula, Lauren and Watson. Watson has been awesome, very responsive and helpful. Customer service has been great. Overall the house is fine, but tends to stay cold and on the drafty side. Due to where the registers and returns are located. The outside HVAC UNIT IS QUITE LOUD and since it's located behind the master bed/bath, you hear it all night and the hot water heater makes loud noises constantly, we can hear it from inside the house. For this price point home and being a 'Parade' home, the wire shelving in the pantry and master closet seem cheap, as well as the tiny shower upstairs and undersized bath/shower downstairs. The unfinished drop zone, lack of doors on the downstairs flex room quality of the carpet/pad downstairs and on the stairs all should have been upgraded as a Parade home and preferably with the option for us to upgrade since we purchased the house at Sheetrock. I say this as a Realtor who has been through many Parade homes and just home in general in this price point. The hosebib located in the garage is ridiculous as well as the fireplace that only offers a tiny flame. There is a lack of overhead lighting upstairs in the bonus room. One small light fixture for that large room is less than ideal. Addressing these issues would make for a much better quality home. We were not satisfied with Adam at Cross Country mortgage. He did not listen to what we wanted in a loan program and told us we were not allowed to pay off our mortgage when we wanted to. He said we had to make at least 6 payments or he couldn't originate the loan and this was only said to us the week of closing. This is clearly a violation of the pre payment penalty that NC and Fannie Mae observe. We discussed it with the closing attorney as we signed nothing that said we had to stay in the mortgage. We have since paid it off. I was not listed as the selling agent in the MLS when we closed. This should have been corrected. There are still some punch items that need to be taken care of such as a hole in my Sheetrock in the garage that critters can get in, front door needs paint correction, there is white paint over my black front door. Bedroom door was hung wrong with a gap when closed and there was a large crack on our driveway that happened after we contracted but before we closed. Overall, we would rate the quality as fair but the customer service as very good.
