Experience with solar generation, battery storage, wells, wastewater systems and sophisticated backup technologies informs our approach to mountain development-whether a residence operates independently or connects to conventional infrastructure. Our relationship with Bonanza Land LLC dates to the founding of VEDA MODERN. Its historic patented mining claims and mountain acreage have provided a remarkable proving ground for transforming land shaped by Colorado's mining history into contemporary places to live. Sixteen completed VEDA residences demonstrate that vision in built form. Through VEDA MODERN PROPERTIES, our real estate division, we also assist clients in identifying and securing exceptional land. Mountain property requires an understanding of access, topography, solar orientation, water, wastewater, utilities, jurisdiction and historic context. These considerations are evaluated alongside architecture from the beginning rather than after a site has been selected. Our work begins with the land, not a predetermined building. Each residence is conceived specifically for its setting, combining contemporary architecture with thoughtful site planning, infrastructure and construction.
