VEDA MODERN is a Colorado real estate development, design and construction company creating contemporary residences for remarkable mountain settings. Our work brings together disciplines that are too often separated. Development, real estate, architecture, infrastructure and construction are considered as parts of a single process, allowing each project to evolve from an understanding of the property itself. Since 2015, VEDA MODERN has completed twenty Colorado residences, establishing a body of work shaped by mountain landscapes, challenging terrain and the historic communities of Colorado’s Central Mining District. Our experience ranges from private, grid-independent homes on repurposed patented mining properties to new residential development within the Central City National Historic District. Rather than applying a single house repeatedly to different sites, VEDA MODERN approaches each property individually. Views, topography, solar orientation, access, history and the character of the landscape help determine the architecture that follows. Clients may engage us to identify an exceptional property, evaluate its possibilities, develop and design a residence, and carry it through construction—or engage only the services appropriate to their needs.
