There a very few neighbors, which makes it feel like a haven of privacy and freedom. It is located on both sides of Coe Rd., a private road located just minutes from the heart of Lumberton, NC. The owners do not have any documentation regarding the maintenance of the road, but it has been well maintained. There is also no written legal access via Coe Road. According to the Robeson County Register of Deeds, none of the other residential properties on that road have a recorded written legal access. It appears the subdivision of the properties were done before a written legal access was required as part of the subdivision process.
None of the property is within the FEMA 100 year or 500 year floodplain. Furthermore, there are no designated wetlands present. The Tenmile Branch creek runs through the woods, near the eastern border of the property, making it an area that deer, turkey and other wildlife are likely to visit. The sandy soil is mostly flat and has good drainage on the front and sides of the fields. With a little grading and grass seed, a beautiful yard is just waiting for you.
The owners have allowed a local farmer to plant and harvest the field for years, but no agreement is in place, and they do not receive a lease payment. No recent survey or soil test has been performed. There are several cars and an unused dog pen on the property which belong to the neighbor of the adjacent property, but he has agreed to remove them quick
