Access to the back half of the property is by wading across the creek, so bring along some waterproof boots. The creek provides a good water source for the wildlife using the property including whitetail deer, wild turkey, and small game. The creek is also a tributary of the Cass River, and it supports a fishable population of bass, pike, and rock bass.
