    I have been asked so many times to find a small lot on a great street that abuts conservation land. HERE IT IS… This 1.5 acre parcel known as Lot 2, abuts 25 acres of conservation land known as Journey’s End. Here is what the Vermont River Conservancy has to say about the 25 acres, “Loved by generations of local residents and visitors, when the land next to Journey’s End Swimming Hole was put up for sale, the community reached out to Vermont River Conservancy and rallied together to protect this special place. The town of Johnson owns the land, and Vermont River Conservancy holds the easement, working together to make sure these 25-acres will always be in their natural condition.” Lot 2 is not Conserved and is buildable according to the Covenants and Restrictions attached. There is an approved VT Waste Water Permit for a (3) bedroom residence. Also allowed by the current Covenants and Restrictions is the construction of a single family residence, 4-car garage, one guest house and one barn. Lot 2 has 373’ of road frontage on the paved Plot Road. Stowe 18 miles. BOS 3.5 hrs. BTV 38 miles. Morristown (Copley) 10 miles.
