    Let's talk about getting way out in Wheelock. This excellent recreational camp lot is accessed via a deeded path/woods road, off a private ROW, off a class 4 road, off a small dead end town road. If you can find a place that's impossible to find does that render it no longer impossible to find? Even as remote as it is there are other summer camps nearby that share access to the same private ROW and signs of bygone human activity on this parcel. A stone cellar hole and household relics remain from 100 years ago when the land was last farmed. Ancient roses, rhododendron, and apple trees still survive from those times. More recently, perhaps 30-40 years ago, summer recreationalists set up a couple quirky campers that have not withstood the test of time and abandonment. If a tree falls in this forest I can tell you nobody is around to hear it. Timber! The seller estimates about $10,000 in stumpage from predominantly spruce/fir. There could be views of local hills with cutting. No perc testing or permitting has been completed. Accessed via Gilbert Road which is a deeded ROW, locked and gated.
