Mid-century cottage & studio with stunning views in Old Inverness available for 1-2 month holiday season rental (~Nov 10 to ~Jan 10). Classic indoor / outdoor living. The cottage opens onto an expansive deck with 180 degree views of Tomales Bay and the West Marin hills. Open floor plan with vaulted wood ceilings. Natural light and bay views from every room. Detached studio with full bath is the perfect place to paint, write or as private guest quarters. The cottage is set in the heart of Old Inverness. Wonderful walks, bikes, hikes in every direction. IMPORTANT NOTES: This is NOT a short term rental or a long term rental. It is a 1-2+ month seasonal sublet of our home. We are seeking like minded folks looking to spend some restful time in Inverness. Lease limited to 2 full time occupants. The studio is available for visiting guests but not for full-time occupancy. We love our neighbors. Absolutely no excessive noise, parties or disruptive activity of any kind. Maximum of 4 people overnight, maximum 2 full time occupants. THE FINE PRINT: 1) The first dozen images were professionally photographed when cottage was staged. The remaining show views from summer 2025 and spring 2026. 2) The kitchen and bathrooms are a bit dated (think 1990's) but perfectly functional. Kitchen is reasonably well equiped. 3) The hot tub is also dated but still lovely to soak in. The jets don't work but the filter, heater, & circulation are functional. If you would like to use, a water test every few weeks is required. Instructions are provided. 4) We are dog lovers but dogs are allowed only by permission. We live in a very tight knit neighborhood. Dogs must be mellow and well behaved. No more than one. No mean breed or problem dogs. 5) Cottage includes with high-speed internet and WIFI. 6) There is no TV in the cottage or studio. You are, of course, welcome to stream from your devices or bring your own TV. 7) All utilities are included. 8) All pillows are down/feather. Please bring your own pillows if you are allergic. 9) Basic bedding and household items are provided but you are welcome to bring your own linens, etc if you prefer. Cottage is furnished with all utilities are included. This is a 1 to 2 month holiday season rental. Longer term may be possible depending on our winter plans.
