Hardwood floors and nice light from the many windows - this is the first floor flat of a duplex. The bedroom is on the side street N Michigan so it's not loud. People tend to use the dining room as the 2nd bedroom. There's a formal living room, and the kitchen has a breakfast nook. Your neighbors upstairs is a very sweet individual who is an ideal tenant. There's a small porch, yard, and raised beds. To be transparent so that folks have reasonable expectations. I see these as the negatives of this flat: Although the County lists this property as a 2 bedroom I think it functions better as a large 1 bedroom (but many choose to use it as a bedroom). The windows are very old and only some are operational. We have no plans to replace any of the original windows. The kitchen has older tile and feels older, some like that and some don't. The outside could def use a coat of paint but we have no immediate plans to paint. Older electric stove. Those are the cons. Noise is not a huge issue surprisingly. Yes you hear the noise from Rosa Parks, but you don't hear any freeway noise even though its close. Internet, gas, and electric not included. Nevertheless the pros are: it's an old, cute 1920's house with archways, hardwood floors, and kitchen nook and non-operable fireplace and such. Access to the flat is on the side street N Michigan, there's lots of raised beds to grow veggies and hang out. The roof is newer, the water heater and gas furnace work like a champ. The location is the best! Walking distance to New Seasons, coffee shops, and the MAX line. Flat available June 15th. One year lease. We hire a landscaper to mow regularly. No smoking on the premises. Off street parking available. No pets.
