Worn out laminate in kitchen with multiple cuts and scuffs. Cracked plaster and hole filled walls, no baseboards or trim, exposed stained hardwood floors except in kitchen and bathroom. Dated marigold and avocado paint on walls, updated bathroom however not professional install. Dry rot in window frames allowing flies and other winged insects into house. Shower door doesn’t seal/close properly and foundation under plastic mold is soft and unstable. Kitchen cabinets are a very dated walnut, missing doors, interior shelves are warped and sag in the middle, drawers will fall out without much provocation. Non functioning interior bedroom and attic doors, no locks or functioning doorknobs. House smells distressingly of mildew and there is no central air, only forced basement air through vents. There’s is forced electric furnace heat with a filthy digital thermostat. Basement is not at all finished and leaks in most areas. Wash machine leaks and needs a deep clean and heating timer on dryer is broken. All windows are single pane original windows in the home and back porch roof is sagging. Faucets in shower installed backwards, no bathtub, ceiling fans and lights are on same switch, cannot separate. Textured walls throughout. Attic floor is sagging with some very soft spots, flooring is laminate. Many areas in attic have large holes punched in Sheetrock walls. Evidence of squirrel or chipmunk activity with holes and sawdust from chewing. Front steps leading down from front porch are extremely soft wood and unreliable. No structured driveway in back of the house, just dead patches of random grass in a skewed area from parking. Looks ok in pictures but a closer look shows much wear and tear. Will take a lot to fix and update this neglected house. Doubtful it would pass inspection. Homeowner does rent and has for years but does not report income.
