This home is 12 minutes away from all 5 colleges (we drove to each). The PVTA route 39 provides regular service during the academic seasons between Smith, Hampshire, and Mt. Holyoke Colleges, with connections to UMASS and Amherst College. Cooley Dickinson Hospital is 10-15 minutes away, and the hospitals of Holyoke or Springfield are approx. a half hour commute. The house has septic, which means no garbage disposal, and treating the plumbing with care (only human waste and toilet paper can be flushed).
