The apartment stays naturally cool in the summer. It has a free standing cast iron gas fireplace with a remote control and puts out a nice flame which keeps the apartment temperature warm and cozy. There are high wood ceiling and good light from south facing windows. The utility room with a W/D has room for a bike or board. I will consider a well behaved dog, not a big barker, and well exercised if needed. There is not a fenced yard but acres and acres of trails. Skamania lodge has lot of trails and is about a five minute walk away. The stone patio provides an outdoor space to BBQ or sit and enjoy the birds singing. All utilities are covered by the owner. WiFi, water, gas, and electricity. The is no fenced yard but lots of trails for hiking, mountain biking and the Columbia River for water sports. Town is an easy walk away. Skamania Lodge is just a 1/2 mile. Hood River is 18 miles and Portland 42.
