Rose ski resort and 11 miles to gorgeous Lake Tahoe. This place is full of mountain charm - built in 1948 for the Sky Tavern Ski School Director. As such, the cabin has several quirks and definitely is NOT for everyone. For the winter you will need 4 wheel drive - and occasionally, on heavy snow days, you might have to park at the Sky Tavern lodge and hike up the private dirt road to the house. Only those who are mountain worthy will love living here! About the place: One bedroom, one bath, with kitchenette in the living room. This place is furnished with two single beds and a futon/couch. Appliances (micro-wave, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, Keurig, dorm size fridge, electric heaters, and TV), cookware, dishes, and linens included as are utilities and internet. Shared laundry room and some storage. The unit is downstairs and has a small fenced in patio. Month to month lease. No Smoking, no loud music, and occasional small get togethers okay. Would prefer a mature individual focused on life outdoors, rather than the party life, and who will help with snow removal activities: This means helping to keep the driveway cleared of snow. It will be up to you to keep the fenced patio area clear of snow. ($1450 one person, couple $1550 per month)
