Eldorado home with detached studio of 1000 sq ft. Four or five bedrooms total, depending on how you use the space. 1.78 acres. Gas stove, fridge, washer and dryer. Two-car garage. Mountain views, especially from the second-story master bedroom. Fenced backyard. The separate STUDIO has a spacious "great room" with high ceilings, plus a smaller room for bedroom or office, and a bathroom with shower only. New white IKEA cabinets, white porcelain farmhouse double sink, butcher block counter, and under-the-counter washer and dryer. On-demand hot water heater. Two window air conditioners in the main house, ceiling fan system in the studio, and cross ventilation throughout for cooling. Pet friendly. Fenced yard. Pet deposit. Eldorado at Santa Fe is a beautiful country suburb with mountain views in many directions, hundreds of acres of wilderness trails, and abundant wildlife. The neighborhood has a beautiful pool, tennis courts (outdoor), playgrounds, an excellent school, a library, and a senior center. Unfurnished. The furnishings in the photos will not be in the house. The main house has a country feel -- not high end at all, but very pretty, sunny, and cheerful, as you can see from the photos. The studio is newer and has a more modern feel; it used to be a tai chi studio; people really like the energy there too. There are friendly neighbors, many of them have been here for 20 years. Eldorado is about half an hour from Santa Fe, so if you need to be in town, it may not be the place for you, but many people prefer to live in Eldorado because of the spectacular views, quiet, beauty, and wildlife. We, the landlords, live 10 minutes away and have been here nearly 30 years. We won't be giving tours for a few weeks while the current tenant moves out. Meanwhile, please tell us about yourself and the others who will be living with you. Renter pays utilities except for well water, unless excessive amounts are used. Utilities include electricity and propane. Trash/recycling collection is optional. Landlord pays for septic services. Firewood (optional for wood stove in kitchen) can be ordered locally. Tenants must agree to use water conservatively in our high desert environment. "First, last, and deposit" will be required on signing of the lease. Before requesting a tour, please tell us about yourself and your family or anyone who will be living with you. Because of Covid, we can't have open houses without putting the current tenants at risk, so we will try to find out as much as possible first, before scheduling viewings, so that we know that the house would be a good fit for everyone.
