A little about me. I'm a young/fun-spirited bachelor who came to the PNW (originally from Texas) to live in the greatest outdoor playground on the planet. I'm recently semi-retired (8 years Army, 18 local government) and now a Forestry student at OSU where I hope to eventually start a career in forestry management. Given school demands I'm generally gone Monday through Friday down in Corvallis. The other BR downstairs is occupied by Chris. Chris is an easy going guy who works for the Sternwheeler Cruise Line on the Columbia River and has a sweet, new, and super friendly pup, Kahsi. The house is right in town, all within walking distance of the grocery store, several restaurants including 2 breweries, (Thunder Island and Gorges), the post office, our local coffee shop, and the beach/marina on the Columbia River. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous out here and there is tons to do. Waterfalls, Pacific Crest Trail, and the mighty Columbia are all a short walk or bike ride from the house. Extra points if you're a snowboarder, trail runner, mountain biker, or windsurfer/kiteboarder. Dogs and cats are negotiable for an additional fee. 420 friendly.
