This is a 213 acre historical rice plantation created in 1750 by a King's Land Grant to Benedict Bourquin. This is the only remaining intact portion of the original 1500 acres. The original dikes are in place and one of these serves as private access road to the property. The Little Ogeechee River fronts the property with a tidal creek forming the southern border of the property. A dock is a possibility which would give access to the river. Large 200-300 year old live oaks are scattered throught the property with an additional mix of pines, hardwoods, and pasture. An old barn is still functional, and recent fence renovation and painting creates a showplace for the equestrian enthusiast. A second barn has multiple bays for storage of equipment. Lebanon Plantation is to the immediate north and highway 17 to the west. The development potential is endless. The land is not under a conservation easement providing the ability to develop or create an easement for multiple tax advantages.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
