our first house ... The actual history of this property, is this was the original Thompson Family farm house. The family is still very prevalent in the area and owns the surrounding property , and Cattle. Grandma Thompson just celebrated her 90th birthday and lives adjacent. The family was kind enough to give us the history of this Springville property . It was purchased as a 2 room house in 1960, even though county records have it as being built in 1960 , that is actually simply the first time a record of this property was kept. The Thompson Family added the basement, attic space, a bath/utility area and 2 bedrooms after they purchased it. This House saw a new family in the late 90's , who added the new master bedroom, and bathroom, and converted the original second bedroom into a huge walk in closet. At some point the attic space was converted to two decent sized kids rooms. and a really nice commercial grade heating and cooling forced air unit was installed and kitchen refurbished. IN October of 2012, this property was traded for a Horse farm, and the interm owner tore down the old dilapidated garage and replaced it with a huge 2 car garage, and added a garden shed. At this point the master bath was finished by installing a jetted soaker tub. We bought this house in early 2013. and will keep with tradition and continue improving the property. :)Will update as projects are finished . Neighborhood Description Country, Laid back.
