We have a 5-bedroom, 4-bath cabin in Lost River, WV. t is two levels with the bedrooms on the second floor. It's in the heart of gay WV and is a nice mix of local and DC weekenders. Here's the layout: *Unit A: 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin-size beds. *Unit B: 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a walk-out balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has two twin-size beds. The sofa in the living room folds out to a full-size bed. We have a current Airbnb listing for our DC apartment and decided to try to rent out our WV vacation home. The cabin has a landline (shared between the two units) but there is no cell phone reception. We have high-speed DSL Internet as well as Hulu Plus and streaming Netflix. We're roughly 10 miles from Wardensville, WV and roughly 30 miles from Moorefield, WV. Moorefield is a good town for Walmart, lunch, and a movie theatre and bowling alley. Very close by are two restaurants: the Lost River Grill (5 miles away) and The Guesthouse Lost River (3.8 miles away). The former is more low-key, and the latter is a bit more upper-scale. Lost River Recreation Center (about 5 minutes away by car) provides a nice lake that you can walk around (and swim in during summer), a camping area, and a playground for kids.
