We ask that you stay out of the outbuildings but otherwise make yourself at home! :: Other things to note :: Our property includes our driveway, home, close to 3/4 of an acre, and our dock. Please stay on our property and out of the outbuildings. Parking should only be on our driveway: please do not park on the street or in the grass. Reminder: the lake has alligators. Please do not feed them or taunt them and watch any children or dogs around the shore and dock. Swimming is not allowed off the dock for this reason. Definitely no need to be fearful: just respect them and their space, and they will respect you. If you are fishing, please do not discard any sort of fish guts or absolutely anything off the dock. That counts as feeding the alligators, and that's setting us all up for a recipe for a disaster and is illegal. This is a lake house directly on the water. There will be insects, reptiles, and potentially other wild animals. Please help us keep all of the above out of the house by keeping doors and windows shut and by properly disposing of garbage. All garbage should be bagged and placed in the trashcan. Thank you for helping us keep Lake Moultrie wild and protected by respecting our neighbors, wildlife and our home. :: Things to Know :: This is a family-friendly home but not baby-proof. Children must be supervised, especially near the lake. Swimming off the dock is prohibited due to the natural presence of alligators. Respect them, and they'll respect you. Insects and wildlife are part of the charm. This is a real lake house keep doors closed and trash secure. No feeding wildlife or discarding fish remains off the dock. It's unsafe and illegal. Outbuildings are off-limits. Please park in the driveway only, not on the grass or street. :: Guest Access :: You'll have full access to the home, yard, and private dock. The only areas off-limits are the exterior sheds and outbuildings. :: Seasonal Water Levels :: Lake Moultrie is a managed lake operated by Santee Cooper. While the lake is typically deep water, water levels may fluctuate seasonally or temporarily due to utility management, weather, or maintenance. These changes are outside the host's control and are a normal part of living on a managed lake system. $2,000 refundable security deposit due at booking $250 non-refundable pet deposit (approved pets only) $150 cleaning fee No smoking, no parties, no unapproved pets, no residents other than those approved in the lease. Utilities are included. House is fully furnished and all house contents are to stay with the house. Open to all lease lengths (short term to long term).
