Know as The Petrus Vanwagnen Homestead built in 1699, 310+ year old & never sold! The oldest standing home in the Town of Rosendale. The stone structure has different size beams running through some of the windows & ceilings, ceilings are constructed of big wide planks which are actually the upstairs floors. At the time the home was built, the boards could not exceed 22 inches in width or a tax would have to be paid to the queen of England.
