Seeking any information/photographs of the history of this home. If you have anything to share, please contact us via Zillow! Built in 1914 by Judd and Lydia Montague, this home was a very unique design for the relatively newly formed Crestview Subdivision. The Crestview Subdivision was formed after the Andrew Wilson Farm was sold to a group of developers based in Cleveland and subdivided into what is now the "Crestview Area" of Clintonville. Among other occupations, the Montagues were inventors and songwriters. J.W. held a patent on a "rabbeting plane" handplane tool which was manufactured and marketed by the Stanley Tool company in the early 1900's. Lydia and J.W. co-wrote the 1913 musical composition "The Sawdust Trail".
