There is no washer and dryer in the cottage at this time, however, there is a laundry mat just 5 minutes away. Please note, full disclosure: this cozy cottage was originally designed as a summer getaway, and while it's been enjoyed by winter renters in the past, please note that it's not fully winterized. The home is modestly insulated, with a heat pump in the living room and a wall-mounted propane heater to keep things toasty in the main space. The bedroom and bathroom do not have direct heat sources, so we recommend bringing an electric radiator heater for added warmth in the bathroom! If you're looking for a peaceful, affordable spot to enjoy ocean views and quiet winter days, this could be a perfect fit! This cottage is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Thomas Point Beach & Cook's Corner, in Brunswick, which offers shopping and restaurants, laundry mat, grocery stores, a great store for fishing supplies, etc. 10 minutes away from Maine Street where you'll find Bowdoin College, Maine State Music Theatre, museums, and much more!
