    This custom ranch home is located in highly desirable Applewood Mesa Ranchettes, one of the earliest of the “Applewood” developments. The exterior is highlighted by beautiful artisan brickwork using recycled brick from the early days of Denver’s push for urban renewal. These bricks came from buildings that were torn down in old downtown Denver and were cleaned and repurposed. Since many of the bricks were inconsistent in size or shape, the masons used their artistic skill resulting in an uneven pattern that you will not see anywhere else – it really is a unique feature of this home. The roof and gutters were replaced in 2007 with a Class IV impact resistant architectural asphalt roof which was designed to replicate the original split cedar shakes.
