Our 3-br home on one half acre of land is available September 9, 2017 for 9 months. No short-term rentals, please. We're located on a private road that ends two houses past our house--so it's very quiet. We have a front and back yard. The house is 50 feet from a tidal bay. The LR and MBR have floor-to-cathedral-ceiling glass sliders facing the water. The LR opens onto a deck for dining and relaxing. The MBR opens onto a terrace. In addition to the mbr, there are two other bedrooms. There are two bathrooms and an outdoor shower. The house has 1,063 square feet. We have a dock that's suitable for mooring a boat. In addition, there's an adjoining studio, also facing the water, excellent for use as a study or office. However, it isn't heated, so it's not suitable for use in winter. We're 10 minutes drive from the center of Gloucester and less than one hour drive to Boston. We require a nine-month lease as specified in the dates available. We don't rent the house for short-term rentals at this point. Beginning this fall, we plan to list for short term rentals of one week or longer for the summer 2018. Further, tenant pays utilities for the nine-month rental: lawn maintenance, water and sewer, personal property insurance, heating oil, electricity, Internet, telephone, and cable TV. Owner pays real estate taxes and fire insurance.
